Steve Morgan

Steve Morgan has over 20 years of work experience in various technology roles. Steve started their career as a Senior Sales Engineer at US West in 1989 and went on to become an Application Manager. In 1993, they joined Alki Software Corp as Director of Software Engineering. From 1997 to 1999, they served as the Director of Software Engineering at Intype Inc. Steve then joined Oxygen Media as the VP of Software Development and later became the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), a position they held until 2008. In the same year, they briefly worked as the VP of Engineering at Simon and Schuster. From 2008 to 2011, they served as the CTO at Bella Pictures. Steve then joined CNE Media as their CTO from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Steve became the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Eversport.tv until 2015. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Executive Director Technology & Product at Simon and Schuster. In addition to their corporate positions, they have been a member of the New York CTO Club since 2000.

Steve Morgan obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Washington State University, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Steve pursued further education at the University of Washington from 1988 to 1991, earning their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE).
