Thomas Curran

Thomas Curran is an Associate Professor of Psychological and Behavioural Science at The London School of Economics and Political Science, where leadership of the UK’s top undergraduate psychology program combines high-quality teaching with cutting-edge research in perfectionism, stress, and workplace wellness. Curran is also the Director of Thomas Curran Ltd, providing data analysis and strategic consulting for major tech and finance firms. As a best-selling author of "The Perfection Trap," published by Simon & Schuster and Penguin Publishing Group, Curran explores the implications of societal pressures for perfection, contributing to discussions on anxiety and burnout. Previous roles include a Vice President position at Goldman Sachs, focusing on enhancing Developer Experience, and academic positions at the University of Bath, University of Gloucestershire, and Victoria University. Curran holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Leeds and has an extensive educational background in psychology and sports science.
