Jill Pipher is currently the Elisha Benjamin Andrews Professor of Mathematics at Brown University and serves as a board member for the Simons Foundation. They were the Vice President for Research at Brown University from 2017 to 2024 and held the position of Professor at Brown University since 1990. Pipher has also served as President of the American Mathematical Society from 2019 to 2021 and the Association for Women in Mathematics from 2011 to 2013. Their academic journey began with a Dickson Instructor and Assistant Professor role at the University of Chicago from 1985 to 1990, while they are presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics at UCLA. Additionally, Pipher was the Founding Director of the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM) from 2010 to 2016.
