Lauren Bauer

Lauren Bauer currently serves as the Senior Director for SFARI Cohorts and Biorepositories at the Simons Foundation, a role commenced in December 2023, where responsibility includes the overall management of research cohorts and biorepositories as part of the SFARI leadership team. Prior to this, a significant tenure at The New York Stem Cell Foundation Research Institute spanned over 14 years, with ascending roles from Laboratory Manager to Vice President, overseeing scientific operations and project management. Earlier experience includes managing a dental office and working as a research assistant at the University of Colorado. Lauren Bauer holds a B.A. in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Science in Biotechnology with a concentration in Bioinformatics from The Johns Hopkins University.
