Tom Wagg

Flatiron Research Fellow

Tom Wagg is an accomplished researcher and astrophysicist with extensive experience in both academic and tutoring roles. At Harvard University, Tom served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Desai and Eisenstein Research Groups, focusing on population genetics and luminous red galaxies, while also working as a Private Tutor for high school and college students. As a Research Fellow at the Center for Astrophysics, Tom collaborated on projects related to massive stars and gravitational waves. Currently, Tom is a PhD student in Astrophysics at the University of Washington and serves as a Flatiron Research Fellow at the Simons Foundation, where research concentrates on binary stellar evolution and galactic dynamics. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Astrophysics and Physics from Harvard University, graduating with highest honors, and has pursued a Master of Science in Astronomy at the University of Washington.
