Yuri Levin

Yuri Levin is a Professor at Columbia University in the City of New York and a Group Leader at the Simons Foundation, both roles held since 2017. They also serve as a Professor of Astrophysics at Monash University since 2010. Previously, Yuri worked as a staff member at Leiden Observatory from 2005 to 2010 and as a Senior Research Associate at the University of Toronto from 2002 to 2005. Their academic journey began with a Ph.D. in Physics from Caltech, earned in 1999, following a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the University of Melbourne in 1992.
