Richard Maes

Richard Maes is a highly skilled automation engineer with extensive experience in various industries, including pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Currently serving as the Lead Automation Engineer at SimoTech, Richard is part of a managed service team for Eli Lilly. Previously, Richard worked as a Senior Automation Project Engineer at PM Group, leading site managed services for MSD Brinny and engaging in project engineering for multiple global clients, while managing GMP and Non-GMP process control systems. Earlier experience includes a role as an Automation/DCS Engineer at ABB, focusing on global projects involving ABB 800xA systems, and as a Product Builder at Boston Scientific, where Richard gained experience in a clean room environment adhering to FDA requirements. Richard holds a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering (Honors) from Munster Technological University and has pursued further education at The Health Science Academy.
