Kacey Smith

Kacey Smith is an experienced professional in food science and technology, currently serving as R&D Manager at Simple Mills since September 2018, following roles as Senior Research & Development Scientist and Product Development Scientist I. Prior to Simple Mills, Kacey held the position of Applications Scientist at Flavorchem Corporation from October 2016 to September 2018 and worked as a Jr. Food Scientist at Chew LLC from December 2014 to July 2016. Earlier experience includes a Sensory Lab Research Assistant role at The Ohio State University and a Research and Applications Intern position at Synergy Flavors, Inc. Kacey's foundational experience began with a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Technology from The Ohio State University (2010-2014) and includes an earlier academic background from Shawnee High School (2006-2010).
