Katlin Smith

Katlin Smith is the Founder and CEO of Simple Mills, a natural food company that focuses on providing clean and additive-free products. Since its establishment in 2012, Simple Mills has become a leading brand across various sections of the grocery store. In 2022, Katlin also became a Board Member at Terviva, a food and agriculture company specializing in sustainable oil and protein ingredients derived from the pongamia bean. Moreover, Katlin has prior experience as a Strategy & Operations Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from 2010 to 2013.

Katlin Smith obtained their Permaculture Design Certification from Midwest Permaculture in 2019. In 2013, they enrolled at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Marketing, which they completed partially in 2014. Prior to that, they attended UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a degree in Business Administration and Biology.
