David Reid is an experienced educator and software engineer with a diverse background in both academia and industry. Currently serving as an Adjunct Computer Science Lecturer at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville since January 2022, David teaches CS 340 Software Engineering. As Engineering Team Leader and Senior Software Engineer at SNMP Research, Inc. since 1992, David has managed a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on the development and support of software solutions for various industries including telecommunications and defense. David's experience also includes part-time instructor roles at Knoxville Business College and Johnson University, where contributions were made to the Computer Information Systems and Educational Technology programs.
