Phil Stanhope pursued their education in various institutions, starting with a focus on Computer Programming at Bridgewater State University in 1976. Phil then continued to study Computer Programming at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1979, followed by Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1980. Transitioning to Chemical Engineering at Northeastern University in 1981, they ultimately completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer & Information Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1982 to 1985.
