Mark Carlson

Mark Carlson is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in technology and finance. As the CEO and Co-Founder of SimpleFeed since 2003, Mark has led the company to become a prominent player in social content syndication, securing funding from Sequoia Capital and achieving profitability with over 100 Fortune 500 deployments. Prior to this, Mark served as CFO at First to File, where significant financing was secured for the company's turnaround before its sale to MarkMonitor. At CyberMedia, Mark played a pivotal role in creating the leading internet security product, Guard Dog Deluxe, while also overseeing the company's merger and acquisition activities. Mark's entrepreneurial journey began with co-founding Walk Softly, which was sold to CyberMedia, and included finance leadership roles at Digital Pictures and investment banking positions at Montgomery Securities and Paine Webber. Mark is an alumnus of The Wharton School, where foundational knowledge was acquired from 1983 to 1987.
