Julio Rodriguez has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Julio began their career as a self-employed web designer and developer, where they established reliable subcontracting relationships with larger consulting companies. After their entrepreneurial venture, Julio worked as a web development intern at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, contributing to the redesign of an online rewards catalog. Julio then secured a summer internship at General Motors, where they proposed a winning redesign for the internal Global HR portal and worked on a potential sponsorship deal with Tour de France. After completing their college degree, Julio joined General Motors as a college graduate in development.

In 2007, Julio transitioned to Q.B. Construction, Inc., where they held multiple roles, including proposal lead, special projects, and Director of IT. Julio achieved significant success, securing $45M in awarded work as the proposal lead and managing the delivery process for two high-rise projects worth $80M.

In 2012, Julio joined Bayinteractive Inc. as the Director of Product Design. Julio identified market demand and created a Rapid Prototyping process, taking 13 products from concept to prototype. One of the enterprise products they developed won the HR Tech Product of the Year award.

Julio's most recent work experience is with SimpleLab, Inc., where they held the positions of Chief Technology Officer and Technical Co-Founder. Julio created Tap Score, the first Smart Water Test, and developed a marketplace that manages sample logistics, reporting, and quality assurance. Julio also built a data architecture and infrastructure for tracking water contaminants and health risks at a nationwide scale, utilizing proprietary health risk analysis and machine learning algorithms to provide predictive water quality analytics.
