Achara Kelley

Achara Kelley has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Achara is currently working at SimplePractice as a Lead Front-end Engineer, a role they started in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Front-End Engineer at the same company since July 2021.

Before joining SimplePractice, Achara worked at Verizon Media from January 2019 to July 2021 as a Software Dev II Engineer, SSP. Achara was responsible for software development in that role.

From April 2017 to January 2019, Achara held the position of Sr. UI Engineer, Digital Out-of-Home at Oath. At Oath, they focused on user interface design for digital out-of-home platforms.

Prior to their role at Oath, Achara worked at AOL as a Sr. Front-end Engineer from October 2014 to March 2017. Achara was involved in front-end development for Moviefone and AOL music websites, utilizing HTML, CSS, Javascript/jQuery, PHP, MySQL, CMS templates (Blogsmith), SEO, social media APIs, web performance, and best practices. Achara also contributed ideas to increase traffic to the Moviefone website.

Achara founded PixMenus in October 2013 and served as a Software Engineer until September 2014.

Achara started their career at Wall Street Webcasting as a Web Developer from August 2005 to February 2007. In this role, they built webcasting pages for clients and developed tools for the company using ASP and ASP.

Achara has also worked as an Associate Tech Director and a Sr. Front-end Developer at Greater Than One, Inc. from December 2008 to November 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Front-end Engineer (Contractor) at Scripps Networks from February 2008 to July 2008. At Scripps Networks, they worked on front-end development for various sites including Food Network, HGTV, FINE, DIYNetwork, and GAC. Achara developed the microsite for "The Next Food Network Star" project.

In October 2007, Achara worked as a Front-end Developer at Greater Than One, where they focused on XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript development. Achara expressed a desire to work more with AJAX, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

Throughout their work experience, Achara has demonstrated expertise in front-end development, UI design, software engineering, and project management. Achara'sroles have involved various programming languages and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, MySQL, and CMS templates. Achara has also been actively involved in driving traffic and optimizing web performance.

Achara Kelley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Math and Computer Science from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. Achara attended the institute from 1996 to 2000.
