Dana Rome has a diverse work experience in various design roles. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Junior Designer at SJ Studio, where they implemented iterative design processes and streamlined project deliverables. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Design Associate at Jamie Bush + Co, managing client relationships and redesigning concepts for residential complexes. In 2016, they worked as a Project Lead, UX/UI (Pro Bono) at TECH NOIR, conducting user research and designing a purchasing process for wearable technology. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a UI/UX Designer at Decorator Technologies, Inc., overseeing research and design for product launches and providing a new brand identity. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a UX Designer at Sidebench, leading UX design sprints and implementing UX and interaction design audits. Currently, they are a Senior Product Designer at SimplePractice, leading the redesign of SimplePractice Learning, developing wireframes, and conducting usability tests.

Dana Rome has a diverse education background. In 2003, they completed their high school education at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, obtaining a High School Diploma. Dana then pursued higher education and attended Scripps College from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History. Continuing their education, they enrolled at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2013 to 2015 and obtained a Master's degree in Interior Architecture. In 2016, Dana enrolled at General Assembly and completed a certification program in User Experience Design.
