Elise Grum

Elise Grum has a diverse range of work experience in various educational settings. Elise is currently working as a Support Specialist at SimplePractice since February 2022. Prior to this, they completed a school counseling internship at Hudson High School from September 2020 to May 2021. In this role, Elise provided individual and small group counseling to students, organized events for new students, and assisted with resume writing and mock interviews.

Before their internship, Elise was a Practicum Student at Bolich Middle School from January 2020 to March 2020. During this time, they worked closely with the middle school counselor, conducting weekly check-ins with students and observing counseling sessions.

Elise also has experience as a Substitute Teacher at Cuyahoga Falls City Schools from September 2019 to March 2020, and as a Lead Preschool Teacher at YMCA of Greater Toledo from September 2017 to July 2018.

Elise Grum completed their Master's degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from The University of Akron between 2018 and 2021. Before that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Bowling Green State University, which they completed from 2013 to 2017.
