Elizabeth Belanger

Elizabeth Belanger has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Elizabeth is currently a Senior Product Manager at SimplePractice, where they lead the Notes & Documentation Squad and collaborates with stakeholders to drive the strategy for product features. Prior to this, they served as a Product Manager at the same company, where they worked on projects related to LGBTQ-affirming fields, client document upload, assessments, and inclusive race and ethnicity fields. Elizabeth also collaborated with designers and developers to create documentation materials for new features.

Before joining SimplePractice, Elizabeth worked as a Technical Product Specialist, investigating customer reports of glitches and errors and triaging bugs for the support team. Elizabeth also increased transparency between Product/Engineering and Customer Success by conducting daily Office Hours and creating a request board for additional information. Additionally, they trained new Technical Product Specialists and developed internal training resources.

Elizabeth's previous roles include being a Product Specialist at SimplePractice, where they answered customer questions and became one of the top agents in terms of tickets addressed. Elizabeth has also worked as a Floating Executive Assistant at Friedman Personnel Agency, where they gained experience working in diverse talent agencies, management companies, PR firms, and production companies.

Early in their career, Elizabeth worked as an Executive Assistant at Special Artists Agency and as a Seasonal Client Associate at Merrill Lynch. Elizabeth also served as a Server at Savco Hospitality and as a Teaching Assistant at UCLA. Other roles include being an Administrative Assistant at HDLV Apparel Group, a Student Fundraiser at UCLA Fund, and an Acquisitions Intern at Shoreline Entertainment.

In addition to their professional work, Elizabeth has also served as a Manager/Assistant/Coordinator at The Strong Body Studio, where they managed multiple responsibilities and household tasks while maintaining their academic performance.

Elizabeth Belanger completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography from the University of California, Los Angeles, spanning from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oak Park High School in 2011, where they pursued a general field of study. Apart from their formal education, Elizabeth acquired additional certifications, including the People-First Product Leadership certification from Maven in November 2022 and the Software Product Management (SPM®) Certificate from Product School, although the specific dates for the latter certification are not provided.
