Jillian Pugatch has an extensive background in content strategy and design. Jillian is currently working as a Senior Content Designer at SimplePractice. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2022, Jillian served as a Senior Content Strategist at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, where they led the content strategy for Aetna Medicare's product and focused on driving UX writing and content design strategy.

From 2014 to 2021, Jillian worked at ICF Next as a Content Strategist, where they provided remote content strategy leadership for various websites, microsites, text programs, and apps. Jillian was also responsible for implementing content-first approaches to product development and leading cross-functional teams for product redesign and customization of content management systems.

Jillian's previous experiences include serving as a Senior Managing Editor at The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services, a Health Communications Fellow at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), a Research and Evaluation Intern at FHI 360, a Corporate Communications Specialist at Dimensions Healthcare System, a Fitness Services Manager/Group Exercise Coordinator at Town Sports International, and a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.

Throughout their career, Jillian has showcased their expertise in behavior change, UX/UI design, e-commerce best practices, and collaboration with various teams to optimize content representation within products.

Jillian Pugatch has a comprehensive education history. In 2003, they began pursuing their Bachelor of Arts degree in Developmental Psychology at the University of Rochester, completing it in 2007. Afterward, they enrolled at The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health, where they obtained a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree specializing in Public Health Communication and Marketing from 2010 to 2013. In 2016, Jillian furthered their education by attending the University of Washington and completing a certificate program in Content Strategy & Storytelling in 2017.
