JP Checa has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. JP began their career in 2002 as an Associate at Acquis Consulting Group, where they specialized in training course development and delivery. JP then co-founded Convos, LLC in 2005, where they served as the Co-Founder & President, responsible for product development and sales and marketing initiatives. In 2012, they joined MuckerLab as an MBA Associate before moving on to Bridg, where they held roles as a UX/UI Designer and later as a Product Manager. At Bridg, they led interface design, refined user experience, and collaborated with product teams.

JP Checa joined ZipRecruiter in 2015 and held positions as a UX Designer, Senior UX Designer, Manager of Product Design, and Senior Manager of Product Design. During their time at ZipRecruiter, they worked on product design and management, leading a team of designers and engineers.

Currently, JP Checa is working at SimplePractice as the Director of Product Design. JP has previous roles at SimplePractice as a Lead Product Designer for the Research Team and as a Product Design Manager, focusing on the clinician experience.
