Lucila Broughton

Lucila Broughton has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Lucila began their career in 2016 as a Camp Counselor at CAMP EDMO, where they created educational activities for children aged 4 to 13. In 2017, they worked as a Cope Health Scholar at Simi Valley Adventist Hospital, assisting nurses with patient care and providing extra attention to patients.

In 2018, Lucila held a role as a Scientific Researcher at the CSUN Research & Graduate Studies Office, where they contributed to cyanobacteria research. Lucila recreated proteins associated with cyanobacterial lipid droplets for a microbiologist's project.

Lucila then transitioned to the Oviatt Library in 2015, where they held a managerial position. Lucila trained student assistants on shelving duties and customer service, assisted patrons with research, and organized events in the presentation room.

In 2019, Lucila joined SimplePractice as an Insurance Associate, and later took on roles as a Customer Success Coordinator and Compliance Analyst. Lucila then became a Risk Analyst, and most recently, a Senior Risk Analyst, where they currently work.

From 2014 to 2018, Lucila Broughton pursued their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General at California State University, Northridge.
