Mike Holly has a diverse work experience in various roles. Mike started as a Customer Service Assistant at Harris Teeter in December 2015, where they worked until July 2018. In May 2019, they served as an Aquatics Director at YMCA Camp Cheerio, overseeing lifeguard teams and ensuring safety during aquatics activities. From September 2019 to May 2020, they worked as a Youth Director at YMCA of the Triangle, managing staff and volunteers and planning curriculum for afterschool programs. In October 2020, they became a Youth Programs Lead at Firm Foundations Youth and Family Outreach, a role they held until February 2021. In September 2021, they joined the U.S. National Whitewater Center as an Assistant Guest Services Manager, and they worked there until June 2022. Currently, they are a Phone Support Specialist at SimplePractice, starting in May 2022.

Mike Holly attended Appalachian State University from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies.
