Raul Plascencia

Raul Plascencia has a comprehensive work history in the software engineering field. Raul started their career as a Software Developer/QA Intern at Western Digital in November 2012 and stayed until June 2013. Raul then joined Dell EMC as a Software Engineer in July 2013 and was promoted to Software Engineer II in March 2016, where they developed various server-side programming tasks using Ruby and Bash. Raul designed and implemented customer-centric features, collaborated with global teams, and created customer-acclaimed applications that significantly reduced support calls and costs. In 2018, Raul joined Broadvoice as a Software Development Engineer and worked there until January 2021. Raul then moved to PeerStreet as a Software Engineer from January 2021 to September 2022. Currently, Raul is working as a Senior Software Engineer at SimplePractice since September 2022.

Raul Plascencia holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Informatics, which they obtained from UC Irvine in 2013. Raul pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in Software Engineering from California State University, Fullerton between 2015 and 2017.
