In 1980, they transferred to Los Angeles Pierce College, where they studied Business Administration.
From 1980 to 1982, they attended California State University, Northridge, where they continued their studies in Business Law and Business Administration.
From 1982 to 1986, they enrolled at California State University, Stanislaus, majoring in Business Administration with a specialization in Production Operations Management-POM.
In 1996, they briefly studied Textile Sciences and Engineering at Clemson University.
In addition to their formal education, John M. Rubio has obtained various certifications throughout their career.
