Mark Clark

Mark Clark has diverse work experience spanning over 20 years in the fields of product management, engineering, and consulting. Mark currently holds the position of Principal Product Manager Hardware at Rachio, a role they began in October 2021. Prior to this, Mark served as the Founder and Principal Associate at SWIFT Associates, a company they founded in February 2019 to assist hardware companies in developing their products and strategies. In September 2019, they assumed the role of Chief Hardware Officer at SimpleSub Water, where they oversaw product development, project management, and operations. Alongside their professional endeavors, Mark has also served as a Mentor at Built Oregon since November 2019.

Before these positions, Mark worked at Bresslergroup where they held various roles such as Consultant, Lead Mechanical Engineer, Senior Program Manager, and Account Manager, from February 2014 to February 2020. Mark gained significant experience at Trice Medical as Principal Engineer and Engineering Manager, successfully bringing a novel arthroscopic device from prototype to the market. Additionally, Mark held leadership roles at Acumed, a leading provider of orthopedic implants. Mark served as Lead Technical Engineer from January 2012 to July 2013 and as Lead Product Engineer for the Foot & Ankle Team from June 2008 to January 2012. Mark has also worked at Edmund Optics as a Product Development Engineer and as a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Project Lead at kSARIA and Yaw Automation earlier in their career.

Mark Clark attended Tufts University from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
