Alex Tenenbaum

Alex Tenenbaum is a technology and data professional whose career has focused on renewable energy, entrepreneurship, and rural economies. Most recently, they served as the Director of Technology and Data Analytics at the Center on Rural Innovation, where they enhanced data utilization and developed data-driven solutions. Prior to this role, Alex co-founded a technology startup that created low-energy environmental sensors and worked as a Senior Analyst for various energy and environmental clients, as well as a quantitative analyst for The Brattle Group. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Connecticut College and has completed coursework at Yale University and the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. Currently, Alex is the Geospatial Information Manager at Simplex 3D, residing in rural Vermont with their wife and two dogs.
