Ivan Cruz

Ivan Cruz has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and project management. Ivan currently serves as the Sr. Director of Information Technology at The Simplex Group - Compliance & Safety Management Solutions, a position they have held since November 2020.

Prior to their current role, Ivan worked at ADP for several years in various leadership positions. From August 2018 to November 2019, they held the role of Director - Application Development & Support, where they were responsible for building and maintaining customer-facing web applications and providing technical support. From June 2011 to July 2018, they served as the Director of Technical Project and Portfolio Management, overseeing technology projects, managing budgets, and coordinating application deployments. Ivan also worked as the Director of Client Technology Services from July 2004 to May 2011, managing change requests, application releases, and providing client support. Additionally, Ivan held the position of Manager of Applications Development & Support from June 1999 to June 2004, where they built and maintained various applications and led a development team. Before that, they were the Manager of Technology Integration from September 1997 to June 1999, implementing business systems solutions and supervising a team of developers. Ivan began their career as an Application Developer at ADP in February 1993, building and supporting client-facing applications.

Prior to joining ADP, Ivan worked at Gomez, Santos & Asociados as an Application Development Supervisor from October 1991 to January 1993.

Ivan Cruz graduated from CICM High School in 1985. Ivan then attended Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra from 1985 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
