Brett Rootberg is an experienced equity options trader currently employed at Simplex Trading LLC since June 2007. Prior to this role, Brett worked as an equity trader for Echotrade and was self-employed from March 2004 to June 2007. Earlier experience includes serving as the head listed equity trader at The Third Market Corporation from October 1997 to October 2003. Brett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, obtained between 1991 and 1995.
