Kevin Pierce

Kevin Pierce, CPA has had a variety of roles throughout their work experience. Kevin started their career at the National Futures Association as a Compliance Intern in 2003. Kevin then moved on to Transact Futures where they worked as a Staff Accountant from 2005 to 2007, and later became a Senior Accountant from 2007 to 2011.

In 2011, they joined Spot Trading LLC and held positions such as Sr. Financial Operations Analyst from 2011 to 2014, Manager of Financial Operations from 2014 to 2017, and Controller from 2017 to 2018.

Kevin then worked at Simplex Trading LLC as a CFO/Controller starting in February 2018. Following that, they joined Matrix Executions as a CFO/Controller from January 2019 to January 2021.

Throughout their career, Kevin has gained valuable experience in compliance, accounting, financial operations, and leadership roles.

Kevin Pierce, CPA, has a solid education history. Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Finance at Northern Illinois University from 2000 to 2002.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Kevin has obtained several certifications that further enhance their expertise. Kevin became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in March 2017. Moreover, they possess a Series 27 License, obtained from FINRA in October 2011. Furthermore, they have obtained the Rippling Certified: Payroll Administration certification from Rippling in July 2023.
