Rory O'Kane

Rory O'Kane has an extensive work experience in the financial industry. Rory started their career as a CBOE phone clerk at The Chicago Corporation in 1982, and then moved on to become a CBOE floor broker/clerk at Ceres Partners in 1986. In 1991, they became the President and Managing Director at Rom-Bo Trading / Stafford Trading LLC, where they provided execution services for the derivative trading community until it was acquired by TD Securities in 2002. Rory then worked as a Managing Director at TD Securities from 2002 to 2010. Rory joined Knight Capital/KCG Holdings in 2010 as a Managing Director and remained there until 2016. Rory then joined Two Sigma as an SVP and worked in that role until 2020. Currently, Rory is serving as a Managing Director at Simplex Investments, a role they have held since April 2020.

Rory O'Kane attended the University of Iowa from 1978 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Their field of study was Management Information Systems (MIS).
