Brent N. Laporte

Brent N. LaPorte is a seasoned electrical engineer with over 40 years of experience in the field. Currently serving as the Director of Electrical Engineering and Principal Electrical Engineer at Simplexity Product Development, Inc. since June 2017, Brent previously held roles as a Senior Electrical Engineer with Independent Design Consultant and as a Staff Electrical Engineer at Stratos Product Development from 1992 to 2017. Earlier in their career, Brent worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at ELDEC Corporation and as an Electrical Engineer at WESMAR Western Marine Electronics. Brent holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington, demonstrating a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles.
