Eric Speece is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services and benefits administration sectors. Currently serving as the Sr. Regional Director at Simplicity Group since October 2025, Eric leads efforts to support over 1000 Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and fee-based advisors with independent annuity and insurance solutions. Previously, Eric held the position of Regional Director at RetireOne from August 2020 to October 2025 and worked at Benefitfocus from November 2011 to May 2020 as a Customer Success Manager, where responsibilities included developing high-trust relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. Earlier roles include Client Manager at Benefitfocus and Client Service Manager at SHPS, as well as various positions in retirement plan sales at MetLife. Eric earned a BA in Economics from North Carolina State University, where Eric studied from 1987 to 1989.
