Jozef Rešetár

Jozef Rešetár has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering field since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Software & hardware management at Bonum Information Technologies. In 2013, they were a Software engineer and Ruby developer at Regional Card Processing Centre. In 2014, they worked as a Programmer at Glasgow Caledonian University. In 2016, they were a Software engineer at NESS KDC s r.o. and a Test Software Engineer at Nokia. In 2019, they were a Software Development Engineer at IQVIA. In 2020, they were an External PhD Student at Technical University of Kosice. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Simplicity, where they lead a small team of backend developers and consults design and product ideas with architects and product owners. Jozef designs event-based microservice architecture using AWS SNS and SQS, works with Typescript and Python in IntelliJ IDE, leverages OpenSearch capabilities for complex analytics queries and quick Single Table Design with DynamoDB to build GraphQL endpoints, creates NLP models via hugging face/PyTorch framework, leverages mainly serverless architecture of AWS Lambda, AppSync with the help of Terraform tool, runs and writes integration tests with the help of Jest, and plans and technical grooms stories.

Jozef Rešetár obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics from the Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave between 2009 and 2012. Jozef then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same university between 2012 and 2014. In 2018, they obtained a Deep Learning certification from Coursera Course Certificates. Additionally, in 2008, they obtained a First Certificate in English from the British Council.
