MacKenzie Marino

Mackenzie Marino is an Industrial Engineer with diverse experience in both engineering and research roles. Currently employed at Simplifyber since January 2023, Mackenzie develops early-stage industrial manufacturing prototypes utilizing Solidworks and CAD software and supports hands-on processes in 3D printing and metal and plastics work. Prior experience includes serving as a Biomedical Manufacturing research assistant at North Carolina State University, a research intern at Troxler Electronic Laboratories, an R&D Product Engineer intern at Newell Brands, and an Engineering Lab/Resource Room Assistant at The Engineering Place. Mackenzie's internship experiences also encompass clinical operations at FHI Clinical Inc. and management roles at Cowans Ford Country Club, including Pool Manager and Assistant Swim Coach. Mackenzie obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2023.
