Manikandan R pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Madras from 1989 to 1992. Manikandan later attended Pace University from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Computer Software Engineering. In 1999, Manikandan enrolled at Indira Gandhi National Open University to complete their Masters in Business Administration, focusing on Operations, which they obtained in 2003.
