Kathy A.

Kathy A. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kathy started their career in 2002 as a Senior Project Manager at the New York State Teachers Retirement System. Kathy then worked as an Assistant Director at the New York State Office of the State Comptroller from 2005 to 2009. Following that, they served as a Project Consultant/Trainer at the City University of New York (CUNY), where they assisted in implementing the PeopleSoft financials system. In 2014, Kathy worked as a Senior Project Manager/Business Analyst at docstrats until 2015. Kathy briefly served as a Project Support Specialist at First Data Corporation in 2016. Kathy then transitioned into the role of Senior Instructor, starting with Certstaffix Training in 2016, and later joining Simplilearn in 2021 and CCS Learning Academy in 2022. Throughout their career, Kathy has focused on project management and training, specializing in project management topics.

Kathy A. has an extensive education history. Kathy obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management and Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Education from Russell Sage College, completing their studies in 1981. Kathy also holds another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, this time in Biology/Chemistry, which they acquired from the University at Albany in 1972.

In addition to their academic achievements, Kathy has obtained several certifications. Kathy is a PMTA Certified Training Provider from the Project Management Training Alliance (PMTA), having achieved this certification in April 2022. Furthermore, they are an Authorized Training Partner Instructor for the Project Management Institute, with a certification in PMP obtained in June 2021. Kathy is also a Certified (200 hr) yoga instructor from the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, which they attained in February 2011. Lastly, they hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, which they have maintained since 2005.
