Marcus Griep

Marcus Griep is an experienced technology leader with a diverse background in software engineering and management. Currently serving as a Director at SimpliSafe since September 2019, Marcus has held various roles including Senior Manager and Principal Software Engineer, focusing on core platform development, API management, and security features such as two-step verification and multi-factor authentication. Prior experience includes a tenure at Vistaprint as Lead Software Engineer and Squad Lead, overseeing services for supply chain and customs documentation. Marcus also owned and operated a photography business, contributed as a Teaching Assistant and Systems Administrator at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at Empire Ambulance. Marcus holds an M.S. in Information Technology and a B.S. in Computer Science and Science & Technology Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
