Spencer R. is a Mechatronics Engineer and Inventor with extensive experience in the consumer goods industry. Currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at SimpliSafe since 2025, Spencer previously worked at Hasbro from 2017 to 2022, where they held roles as Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer. Spencer excelled as the technical lead for animatronics and complex products and contributed to innovative projects, including the development of the first internally created self-converting Transformer. They earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Rhode Island in 2015.
