Terran Vigil

Terran Vigil is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in leading technical projects and teams across various companies. Currently serving as a Distinguished Software Engineer at SimpliSafe since October 2024, Terran previously held the position of Staff Engineer at Crunchyroll, where leadership was provided for the development of a next-generation media ingestion service. Prior roles include Principal Engineer at Paramount, where Terran managed greenfield projects and supported existing video services, and Architect at Brightcove, contributing to the company's early development and the long-tail of video streaming. Additional experience includes Senior Engineer at ATG, focusing on an object-relational database platform, Development Manager at DigitalThink in the eLearning sector, and consulting roles at Jamba Juice and Microsoft with a focus on data modeling and database development.
