Angela Powles

Angela Powles is an experienced professional in the eCommerce and brand management sectors, currently serving as the eCommerce Development Manager at Simplot Australia Pty Ltd since December 2010. Throughout their tenure at Simplot, Angela has held various roles, including Brand Manager for Customer Brands/Private Label and National Account Manager for Woolworths. Angela co-founded Chewsr, a foodtech SaaS company, in 2015, aiming to connect the restaurant industry with affordable e-commerce solutions. Previous experience includes roles at Inventive Leisure, Weight Watchers, Yagoona Medical Centre, and Franklins. Angela holds a BA in Illustration and 3D Design from Loughborough University and a BA in Communications with a focus on Social Inquiry from the University of Technology Sydney, complemented by participation in the Simplot Ignite Accelerator Program.
