Darren Briggs

Darren Briggs currently serves as a Farming Agronomist at Simplot Australia Pty Ltd since October 2019, following a role as an Agronomist at Ruralco Holdings Limited from November 2013 to October 2019. Prior experience includes serving as an Area Manager at Fonterra, where milk supply management for Fonterra Tasmania was a key responsibility, and working as an Agronomist at South Pacific Seeds, focusing on agronomy and seed production. Earlier in their career, Darren held the position of Field Officer at McCain Foods, overseeing the Tasmanian production of various vegetables. Darren holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agriculture from the University of Tasmania, completed between 2002 and 2017, and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Graduate Certificate in Business from the same institution, obtained between 2009 and 2011.
