Joanna Finney

Joanna Finney has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over various organizations and roles. Joanna most recently worked as the Head of Finance - Corporate and FP&A at Simplot Australia Pty Ltd starting in August 2019. Prior to this, Joanna held positions at Deloitte Consulting, where they served as Director, Digital Finance from December 2018 to July 2019, and earlier as Manager, Finance Transformation from July to November 2018. Before joining Deloitte, Joanna worked at Sensis, where they held the roles of Group Manager, Business Performance & Reporting from September 2011 to June 2014 and Group Manager, Strategic Analytics from September 2011 to October 2012. Joanna has also worked as the General Manager Business Performance & Forecasting at National Foods from 2008 to 2010, and held multiple roles at National Foods from 2002 to 2007, including General Manager, Planning and Financial Reporting Manager. Additionally, Joanna has professional experience as a Planning Analyst at Mayne Health from 2001 to 2002 and as a Retail Finance Manager (Healthcare Division) and State & Systems Accountant at Sigma Company Limited from 1997 to 2001.

Joanna Finney received their Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree from Monash University in the years 1993 to 1995. Joanna then pursued further education and obtained a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification from CPA Australia, completing the CPA program, which included coursework in Core 1, Core 2, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Business Information Management. Later, Joanna went on to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from RMIT University between 2004 and 2006.
