Ashley Van Jetzer is currently the Operations Manager at J.R. Simplot Company, having previously served as the Hatchery & Juvenile Manager at KOWA Premium Foods from 2017 to 2024 and as the Lead Biologist/Farm Manager at Ocean Rider from 2008 to 2017. With 16 years dedicated to Research and Development in Aquaculture, Ashley has expanded their expertise into public speaking, community education on sustainable fisheries, and grant research. Ashley is also an original coach for the 808 HI Rollers, a learn-to-rollerskate program that promotes skill-building and sportsmanship among participants. Ashley earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from William Woods University in 2008.
