Carla Romero-Erlanson

Carla Romero-Erlanson, SPHR, currently serves as the Director of Learning at J.R. Simplot Company, a position held since December 2022, following various roles in Human Resources at the same company starting in May 2018. Prior to this, Carla held significant HR leadership positions at Vail Resorts, overseeing human resources for multiple resort areas from November 2013 to May 2018, and at Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation from March 2011 to November 2013, managing HR operations for health services in Western Alaska. Carla's HR experience also includes serving as Director of Human Resources at Teton Valley Health Care and Employment Manager roles at Four Seasons Hotels and the earlier period at Vail Resorts. Academic qualifications include an MBA from EWU School of Business and a BS in Management with concentrations in Human Resources and Marketing from Seton Hill University, alongside a certificate in HR from Villanova University.
