Derek Maloney

Derek Maloney has extensive experience in talent acquisition and recruiting. Derek started their career at Aston Carter as a Senior Recruiter, specializing in accounting and finance. Derek then became a Recruiting & Account Manager, leading a team of recruiters and providing talent solutions for clients in the Phoenix market.

In 2019, Derek transitioned to the J.R. Simplot Company, where they held various roles. As a Senior Talent Partner, they provided expertise in talent acquisition. Later, they became the Talent Acquisition Lead for Agriculture, responsible for hiring across multiple business units. Currently, as the Talent Acquisition Lead for Global Plants, Derek leads a team focused on delivering standardized recruitment processes and implementing workforce planning strategies. Derek works closely with HRBPs and engages key stakeholders to ensure exceptional talent acquisition outcomes.

Derek Maloney attended Eastern Oregon University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Marketing.
