Dru Nakaya

Dru Nakaya is the Managing Counsel at J.R. Simplot Company, where they oversee corporate and commercial transactions. They earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2011 and previously served as a legal extern at the same institution. Before their legal career, Dru worked as a foreman at Nakaya Construction LLC and as a finish carpenter in New Zealand. Additionally, they gained legal experience as a legal intern with Utah Legal Services, where they contributed to various legal documents and participated in administrative hearings. Dru holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business.
