Gary Rudgers

Gary Rudgers is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs and biotechnology, currently serving as the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs at J.R. Simplot Company since February 2015. Previously, Gary held roles at Dow AgroSciences as a Global Regulatory Leader, where responsibilities included overseeing global regulatory approvals for innovative crop technologies from April 2008 to January 2015. Earlier experience includes leadership in laboratory operations and molecular biology at Chromatin, Inc., both as Director and Senior Scientist, contributing to the development of mini-chromosome technology. Gary began a research career at The University of Chicago as a postdoctoral fellow, focusing on plant protein analysis following a PhD in Molecular Biology from Baylor College of Medicine and a BS in Microbiology from Eastern Washington University.
