Juan Teruel is the Global Agronomy Manager at J.R. Simplot Company, where they support the technical development of the seed production and RAW production chain in China, India, and Argentina. Previously, Juan served as Seed Manager and main Agronomist at Simplot Argentina, overseeing potato seed production and the Agronomy Research Program. Juan also worked as a CIC researcher for the Comisión de Investigaciones Científicas de la Provincia de Buenos Aires during their M.Sc. formation. They hold a Master’s degree in Agronomy and Crop Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Soil Science and Agronomy from Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, and are currently pursuing an MBA in Agrobusiness at Universidad Blas Pascal.
