Kristin Merrell

Kristin Merrell, SPHR, currently serves as the Learning Technology Manager and previously as the Human Resources Manager at J.R. Simplot Company since January 2018. Prior to this role, Kristin held the position of Human Resources Business Partner - Commercial at Gates Corporation from July 2017 to January 2018, and served as Regional Human Resources Director and Market Human Resource Manager at Walmart from July 2006 to July 2017, where significant achievements included managing HR functions across multiple states and developing a strategic plan for talent development. Kristin's earlier experience includes serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at Wada Farms Potatoes from July 2003 to July 2006, where responsibilities encompassed implementing HR strategies and managing benefits administration. Kristin's career began at Portneuf Medical Center as an Accounting Technician and Payroll Coordinator from July 2001 to July 2003. Kristin holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Idaho State University.
