Neil Musilek is an experienced mining professional with a strong background in engineering, project management, and training services. Currently serving as the Technical Services Manager at Jr Simplot since 2013, Neil oversees engineering, permitting, management, and planning for the Smoky Canyon mine. Prior roles include Senior Mining Consultant at Earthwise Mining Solutions and Golder Associates, where Neil provided consulting services for surface mining projects across North America and Australia, as well as project management in locations such as Tumbler Ridge, BC, and Mongolia. Neil's career began at Kiewit, where extensive experience was gained in engineering, estimating, and operations management for various surface mining projects. Neil holds a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from the SD School Of Mines and Technology, earned between 1983 and 1989.
