Rebecca Miller is currently working as a Packaging Materials Engineer at J.R. Simplot Company since March 2023. Previously, from August 2018 to March 2023, Rebecca served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Boise State University, focusing on self-immolative polymers for de-bondable adhesives and multi-layer packaging recycling. Expertise in polymer synthesis and characterization was developed through various techniques, including gel permeation chromatography and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. An internship at Glanbia Nutritionals in summer 2022 involved quantifying packaging waste within sustainability initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as Head Distiller at HONEY HOUSE DISTILLERY, managing spirit production and quality control, and working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Fort Lewis College, contributing to the synthesis of a new Cobalt complex with anti-cancer properties. Rebecca holds a Master's degree in Materials Science from Boise State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Fort Lewis College.
